Temperatures in Jerusalem are expected to drop significantly on Wednesday, and snowfall is anticipated on Thursday morning across northern Jerusalem, the Israeli Meteorological Department said.
Jabal Ash-Sheikh and the Golan Heights, in the occupied Syrian territories to the north of Israel, will experience the bulk of the snowfall.
Precipitation throughout the West Bank is also anticipated, with likely snowfall in Jerusalem's mountainous areas, particularly in the Jabal Mukkaber district of occupied East Jerusalem.
Snow was last seen in the occupied Palestinian territories and Israel in 2008.
