Rarities

The Malvinas, who named themselves in honor of legendary topical songwriter Malvina Reynolds, are a trio of three distinct and geographically scattered singer-songwriters: Lisa Markley of Texas, banjo and guitar; Gina Forsyth of Louisiana, fiddle and guitar; and Beth Cahill of Quebec, mandolin and tenor guitar. All three contribute songs and sing the lead vocals on their own material, often harmonizing on those written by their bandmates.
