HE Deputy Premier and Chief of the Emiri Diwan Abdullah bin Hamad al-Attiyah met in Doha yesterday visiting Argentina Minister of Federal Planning and Public Investment and Services Julio De Vido and his accompanying delegation. Discussions during the meeting dealt with relations between Qatar and Argentina and ways to enhance them, especially in investment in the energy sector. Link


On the last day of her visit to Qatar, President Kirchner met with H H Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, the head of the Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development. The meeting was mainly centred on the talks between H E Sheikha Al Mayassa, President of the Qatar Museums Authority, and the President’s daughter, Florencia Kirchner. They agreed to encourage the creation of a binational working group to promote Argentine cinema in the Qatari television. Link
