El viejo truco de victimizarse

Think about what they could be doing in the aftermath of the revelation of the New York jihad plot. They could have demonstrated against those who supposedly "twist" and "hijack" Islam to find in it justification for terrorism. They could have offered full and open cooperation from law enforcement to root out the terrorists from their midst. They could have called for the institution of full-scale programs in mosques and Islamic schools to teach against the doctrines of jihad and Islamic supremacism that lead to such terror plots. Instead, here is more predictable victimhood-mongering and claims of "racial profiling." What race is Islam again?

I don't see Catholics, Protestants, Atheists or Buddhists hijacking planes and flying them into buildings. I don't see Catholics, Protestants, Atheists or Buddhists blowing themselves up as suicide bombers. I don't see Catholics, Protestants, Atheists or Buddhists shooting videos of them beheading their "enemies". I don't see Catholics, Protestants, Atheists or Buddhists training their children to kill people not of their faith or grow up to become suicide bombers. I don't see Catholics, Protestants, Atheists or Buddhists in Africa murdering families for the "crime" of being Christians and raping and enslaving their children. I don't see Catholics, Protestants, Atheists or Buddhists bombing hotels and murdering everyone not of their faith. I don't see Catholics, Protestants, Atheists or Buddhists murdering people who want to leave their respective religions. I don't see Catholics, Protestants, Atheists or Buddhist heads of governments saying the Holocaust never happened and that they will "wipe Israel off the map, drive every Jew into the sea". I don't see Catholics, Protestants, Atheists or Buddhists murdering people because one of their "prophets" who has been dead 700 years was "insulted" by a cartoon or one of their "holy books" was "disrespected". I don't see Catholics, Protestants, Atheists or Buddhists murdering their wives as a commandment of their religion if the woman wants a divorce. I don't see Catholics, Protestants, Atheists or Buddhists demanding that everyone respect their religion while they systematically destroy others. Get the picture? Islam is not a religion. It is a cancer. You don't appease a cancer and give it special rights, hoping that it will become a nice, benign cancer. If you don't eradicate a cancer it will eventually kill you.
